The Wedding of Rebecca Singleton and Drew Phillips

A wonderful celebration with friends and family took place on June 30, 2012, at Bluff Park United Methodist Church, as Rebecca Singleton and Drew Phillips were married.  Since the bride’s mother is a special friend of mine, I was thrilled and honored to be a part of this special day.

These lovely programs embellished with a filigree cross were chosen to guide their guests through the “Service of Worship Celebrating the Marriage of Rebecca Powell Singleton and Andrew Dennis Phillips.”

Rebecca and Drew chose a beautiful invitation with a “bicycle built for two” motif which was featured both on the invitation and the envelope’s flap, as well as on the napkins for their reception.

Guests celebrated with the bride and groom after the ceremony at a lovely reception at the historic Avon Theater in Birmingham’s Lakeview District.

This wonderful piece of artwork in an antiqued frame, featuring “Rebecca & Drew” encircling “Love is Sweet” and their wedding date, invited guests to come and sample the many delightful treats in creative containers scattered across the table.

What a glorious day and a joy-filled celebration of two lives becoming one.   Congratulations and wishes for many happy years together to Rebecca and Drew!
