The Wedding of Rebecca Singleton and Drew Phillips

A wonderful celebration with friends and family took place on June 30, 2012, at Bluff Park United Methodist Church, as Rebecca Singleton and Drew Phillips were married.  Since the bride’s mother is a special friend of mine, I was thrilled and honored to be a part of this special day.

These lovely programs embellished with a filigree cross were chosen to guide their guests through the “Service of Worship Celebrating the Marriage of Rebecca Powell Singleton and Andrew Dennis Phillips.”

Rebecca and Drew chose a beautiful invitation with a “bicycle built for two” motif which was featured both on the invitation and the envelope’s flap, as well as on the napkins for their reception.

In the days and weeks leading up to their big event, much preparation was made so that the weekend would go smoothly for all involved.  They chose a beautiful invitation along with response cards that fit the mood of the beach setting.

They also chose to do a Weekend Wedding Guide which contained many tips and suggestions for ways their guests could take advantage of the local flavor of Amelia Island during the weekend.

Their Wedding Program, accented with a beautiful crisp green satin ribbon, coordinated beautifully with their beach theme and was the perfect way to guide their guests through the nuptials.

It was such fun working Lauren and Chris… and of course Zoe (pictured in Lauren’s arms, bottom right below) who became fast friends with my “office manager” Greta when they came for consultations.

Congratulations to you both, and may you have many happy years together.

The bride wore bright pink shoes and carried bright pink flowers, while the groom wore bright pink socks with a touch of bright pink in his boutonniere. What an awesome thing for this groom to do for his bride! This was indeed a festive celebration.
