The Wedding of Kathryn Rebecca Johnson and Captain Emre Isa Albayrak

On Saturday, the 20th of April, Kathryn Johnson and Captain Emre Albayrak, United States Marine Corps, were united in marriage before family and friends at the beautiful Independent Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, Alabama.

Kathryn and Emre chose these beautiful, gold-embossed, beveled edge invitations to  announce the specifics of their ceremony, one version in Turkish for Emre’s family and friends and the other in English.

The lovely arches gracing the entrance to Independent Presbyterian Church welcomed their guests to join with them in their special day.

Cream napkins with their special navy blue monogram graced the tables at their reception.

The couple put together guest bags for out of town guests containing a collection of “Southern and/or Alabama” stuff, and these were waiting for their guests in their hotel rooms. Fine Paperwork put together the tag bearing their first names and last initial “A” and provided the bags.

To kick off their reception, Kathryn donned a red dress and they danced the tango together before those who gathered to celebrate their union.

After changing back into her wedding gown, the couple cut their beautiful cake and shared in their first bite together as husband and wife.

The Wedding of Lisa Rene Williamson and David Scott Smith

At 6 pm on Saturday, March 9th, Lisa and Scott were married in Scott’s beautiful family home in an intimate ceremony surrounded by family and friends.

The Wedding of Ashley Michele Parker and Brice Collin Falkner

On Saturday the 14th of July, 2012, Ashley Parker and Brice Falkner pledged their lives to one another before family and friends.

They exchanged vows outdoors in the beautiful setting of the Sonnet House in Leeds, Alabama.  It was a beautiful day, and the couple chose these lovely programs to guide their guests through their ceremony.

The programs were tied with green ribbons and presented in a burlap basket to guests (as shown in the bottom left quarter of the photo below).

The Wedding of Katherine Lee Bryan and Scott Coleman Boyken

Katie Bryan and Scott Boyken chose the beautiful Reid Chapel on the campus of Samford University as the perfect venue for their wedding, which took place on May 5, 2012.

Katie and Scott chose an elegant ivory invitation accented by a navy ribbon and flourishes to invite family and friends to join them for their special day.

For the rehearsal dinner invitation, they chose an overlay of the Birmingham skyline at sunset embellished with ribbon.

The rehearsal dinner was held at The Club atop Red Mountain and overlooking the city.  The rehearsal dinner  programs (shown at each place setting on the table below) guided those who were to be an integral part of their special day through the evening of the rehearsal and also included trivia questions about the bride and groom.  The lovely place cards and table cards were also done by Fine Paperwork.

The seating chart displayed for their for guests at the rehearsal dinner had their names in a lovely script along with an outline of the Birmingham skyline at the bottom.

The programs for their wedding day were also a lovely ivory with navy ribbon and served to guide their family and friends through the ceremony.

The Wedding of Dinah Xaphakdy and John Byrd

Dinah Xaphakdy and John Byrd were joined in marriage on May 25, 2012, at the beautiful Rancho de las Aquilas in Birmingham, Alabama.  This lovely eighty-acre Tuscan estate with panoramic views was a special spot for friends and family to gather as they witnessed the ceremony.

Dinah and John selected an invitation and response cards (above) with a beautiful black filigree embellishment along with crimson accents to send to their special guests inviting them to join in the celebration.  They also chose a black photo block Save-the-Date card (below) accented in classic white filigree, which they sent out earlier to give friends and family notice that this would be their special day.

The Wedding of Rebecca Singleton and Drew Phillips

A wonderful celebration with friends and family took place on June 30, 2012, at Bluff Park United Methodist Church, as Rebecca Singleton and Drew Phillips were married.  Since the bride’s mother is a special friend of mine, I was thrilled and honored to be a part of this special day.

Rebecca and Drew chose a beautiful invitation with a “bicycle built for two” motif which was featured both on the invitation and the envelope’s flap, as well as on the napkins for their reception.

Guests celebrated with the bride and groom after the ceremony at a lovely reception at the historic Avon Theater in Birmingham’s Lakeview District.
